Highlights of the Valley Sounds program include:
Opening night Friday May 23 at Penny Lane Palace Cinema Rooftop, headlined by multi-award winner Ella Hooper (pictured), with powerhouse hip hop and soul artist Radical Son, and vocalist, DJ and producer Amutha.
Saturday May 24: International Post-Pop Art Rockers, The Great Emu War Casualties, will perform at the Essendon Bowls Club. Jazz vocalist and violinist Fem Belling at Hold Bar and Eatery, Essendon.
Sunday May 25: La Descarga blending Colombian coastal roots with global grooves and a fresh Australian twist at Centreway Keilor East.
Friday, May 30: Indie rock’n’roll artist Dan Vogl will head to the stage at Mt Alexander Hotel.
Saturday, May 31: Soulful singer-songwriter Gabby Steel will perform at Holmes Hall, belting out her blended sounds of folk, indie pop, blues, and soul.
Also taking to various stages at Valley Sounds will be: Aydan x Rgnz, Cooper Lower, Trasch Talkin, Annie and the Make Believe and Paulo Almedia.
