This week's PBS Feature Album is ¯\_(ツ)_/¯, the fourth album by Naarm/Melbourne punk outfit Private Function. 

The 19-track LP captures everything fans have come to love about the band: catchy hooks, irreverent lyrics, and a family-friendly “bite me” attitude. Recorded with producer Stefan Blair at York Street Recorders, the album channels the raw chaos of their live shows. The journey veers between punk rock, sea shanties, electronic breakdowns, and folk sing-alongs, all delivered with the band’s trademark humour and chaos.

Lian Band are a leading folkloric ensemble led by Mohsen Sharifian. A master of the ney-anbān (Persian Gulf bagpipe), Sharifian has dedicated his career to preserving and reinventing the folk music of southern Iran. In 1993 he founded the Lian Band, now one of the country’s most acclaimed traditional ensembles. Together with Lian band, Sharifian has performed in over 30 countries, captivating audiences with the energetic rhythms and melodies of Boushehr.
