This week's PBS Feature Album is ¯\_(ツ)_/¯, the fourth album by Naarm/Melbourne punk outfit Private Function.

The 19-track LP captures everything fans have come to love about the band: catchy hooks, irreverent lyrics, and a family-friendly “bite me” attitude. Recorded with producer Stefan Blair at York Street Recorders, the album channels the raw chaos of their live shows. The journey veers between punk rock, sea shanties, electronic breakdowns, and folk sing-alongs, all delivered with the band’s trademark humour and chaos.

Over the last eight years, Private Function have built a reputation as one of Australia’s most explosive and unpredictable live acts, earning ARIA nominations, top ten albums, and international praise.

Their June national tour will see them lap the country with a setlist packed with fan favourites and unhinged stage antics. The tour hits Eora/Sydney, Ngambri/Canberra, Dhudhoroa/Beechworth, Tarntanya/Adelaide, Meanjin/Brisbane, Kurrungul/Gold Coast, Naarm/Melbourne and Woolyungah/Wollongong, as well as the Thrashville Festival and their long-awaited return to Boorloo/Perth.

Tune in all this week to hear tracks from ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ and PBS Members have the chance to win a copy of the album on vinyl: simply email your name and membership number to giveaways@pbsfm.org.au before midnight Sunday June 22.
