Turning the adversity faced during lockdown into an artistic triumph, contemporary classical composer, pianist and Australian Music Prize nominee Luke Howard created his new album All Of Us, this week's PBS Feature Album.

On All Of Us, Howard shifts between subtle permutations of shifting sound, etched with his trademark intimacy and restraint and applied with a palate both minimalist and expansive. On the recording, Luke plays piano, celeste and synthesiser and the Budapest Art Orchestra (conducted by Peter Pejtsik) plays strings. Guests added flugelhorn, viola, contrabass and modular synth, while fellow post-classicist Ben Lukas Boysen provides additional programming, production and mixing on two tracks.

Tune in all this week to hear tracks from All Of Us, and you can listen back to Monday’s edition of The Breakfast Spread when Luke played a solo piece live-to-air and chatted with Milo about the album.

PBS Members have the chance to win a copy of the album on vinyl via Tuesday’s e-newsletter so make sure you check your inbox!
