Recently returning from Worldwide FM’s ‘We Out Here’, Dufresne’s 11-piece ensemble hit us with their brand of otherworldly jazz. Ladi6 drifts over the Tasman performing her exclusive Melbourne live show. Ha Na’s string ensemble sets the tone, letting her fly.  Rara Zulu gives us a piece of her mind and Antiphon breaks it all down. Holding down DJ duties, Crown Ruler’s Jimi Dawg plays alongside Melbourne Darling Imaxx and an original beat set from HDSNJMSJR.

Kicking off straight after work in the front bar, the genre-denying Michael Beach & The Artists who can mesh heartland rock with glorious psych & a krautrock groove and make it sound masterful! Later, Loose Tooth perform an alternate set upstairs, alongside the futurist glam-punk of U-Bahn + Australiana jangle act Floodlights.

Closet, Fanny’s and Radar present a very Melbourne homage to the storied legacy of queer club culture in our city’s history; presented and curated by two of Melbourne’s favourite and longest running LGBTQI event collectives.

Featuring a world-class selection of Australia’s finest DJ talent, a raft of colourful performances and artists; jot this one in your calendar as this promises to be one not to be missed. Hosted at the excellent new city venue Radar, this is the home to one of Australia’s finest club sound systems and ground-breaking light installations.

Extending the performance stages and transforming the venue into an up close and personal audience space with two rooms of entertainment and Chuckle Park hosting a laneway party, guests will no doubt be on safari all night. Headlining the event will be a very special, one night only nostalgia club set performance from the notorious local legends friendships.

Spanning diverse sounds from hip hop to soul to party baile-funk, Section 8 is celebrating Melbourne music with a huge lineup for Live Music Safari featuring: PBS FM presenter MzRizk curating a lineup of surpise vocalists, Blush’ko, South Sudanese rapper Krown, World DMC Online Champion DJ Spell teaming up with Ugly Neighbours and party starter, Jade Zoe.
