Three Lens Approach is the third album from Naarm/Melbourne five-piece screensaver. Tension carries across screensaver's new record, pushing and pulling between moments of upbeat, heart-on-sleeve tenderness and explosions of frustration and all-out fury. screensaver’s prismatic approach to anxiety-ridden post punk is on full show, danceable and galvanising as ever. A shared love of seventies dance music drives the band’s heartbeat, charged by elements of motorik Krautrock, new wave, moody dub and death disco, and emboldened with their asymmetrical pop sensibility.

This week’s PBS Feature Album is the self titled album from GODTET + The Sydney Symphony Orchestra.

At once bold and nuanced, this album explores the friction between improvisation and orchestration. Where the orchestra is anchored in fully composed material, GODTET remains free – navigating the work's harmonic architecture with instinct and spontaneity. Structures are fixed, but expression is fluid.

Toody Cole, co-founder and mainstay of iconic Oregon group Dead Moon and the godmother of raw DIY rock 'n' roll, returns to Australia for the first time fronting her own band, following three decades of appearances here with Dead Moon, Pierced Arrows and as a duo with her late great husband Fred Cole. In Toody Cole & Her Band, she is joined by Kelly Haliburton and Christopher March (on drums and guitar respectively) of fellow Oregon outfit Jenny Don't & The Spurs.
