Bandmates Victoria is an exciting new initiative from Arts Access Victoria and City of Maribyrnong, matching music lovers with and without disability and mental health issues based on their tastes and interests, then supporting them to get out and experience Melbourne's live music scene and make new social connections.
The project aims to match Bandmates and Volunteers, to train volunteers, and to train Melbourne venues in disability awareness, and is supported by Music Victoria, VicHealth, City of Darebin, City of Melbourne, Moreland City Council, City of Port Phillip and City of Yarra.
