Gloria Ragesh—better known as award-winning artist Wild Gloriosa—unearths profound soul and feeling in every aspect of her music. This week's PBS Feature Album is SOGOLO, the second 21st century release by Zambian Zamrock pioneers (with the acronym 'We Intend To Cause Havoc'), WITCH.

SOGOLO means “future" or "front” echoing a longstanding ethic of the band, dating back to their 1980 disco album, Moving On. WITCH’s songs often originate from jam sessions, and this second album—following 2023’s Zango—marks another powerful return after a 40-year hiatus. Recorded at Big Snuff Studio in Berlin, it’s every bit as edgy, vibrant, and infectious as its predecessor.

This week's PBS Feature Album is ¯\_(ツ)_/¯, the fourth album by Naarm/Melbourne punk outfit Private Function.

The 19-track LP captures everything fans have come to love about the band: catchy hooks, irreverent lyrics, and a family-friendly “bite me” attitude. Recorded with producer Stefan Blair at York Street Recorders, the album channels the raw chaos of their live shows. The journey veers between punk rock, sea shanties, electronic breakdowns, and folk sing-alongs, all delivered with the band’s trademark humour and chaos.
