Brooklyn Arts Hotel is an iconic institution located in Fitzroy. Dubbed by Design Files as “the most creative hotel hub in Melbourne”, the Brooklyn Arts Hotel has seen a vast mix of people through its doors and sleeping in its beds.

But alas, the building has been sold and will no longer be open to the public after March 2020. Timing is such however that there is one week before settlement when the place will be empty. No guests and no furniture. As a send off, they are celebrating this piece of old Fitzroy the only way they know how; with a whole lot of art and a whole lot of eccentrics. The concept of ‘to the last drop’ is the inspiration for an upcoming exhibition, the first and last of its kind to be presented at Brooklyn Arts Hotel.

The event will be open to public on 6th, 7th, 8th 12-5pm FREE ENTRY, but for those that want to experience Brooklyn Arts Hotel in its finest and final form, there are two evening events on from 6-10pm on 6th and 7th with performances, music, happenings, DJ's and garden bar. This is ticketed ($22) with any proceeds going to the recording and processing of Supernaculum, to give the hotel and artists’ work a continuing existence online and through print.
