After Easter you’ll hear a few changes on PBS. Read on to hear about some new additions to the program guide as well as some time slot shifts.

Every Tuesday afternoon (starting April 9) Lyndelle Wilkinson will present The Afterglow between 5pm and 7pm. Lyndelle hosted The Breakfast Spread on PBS for a number of years and it’ll be great to have her back in a regular slot. On Tuesday nights we welcome Mitch Booth and Through the Collapse into the midnight to 2am slot following Fret Net. Mitch has done the hard yards between 2am and 6am and it’s great to be able to move him into a weekly program. Chris Pearson and his show Pojama People will also be promoted into an earlier slot, moving from Tuesdays to a new home every Wednesday between 10pm and midnight. The final change in April will be a brand new show every alternate Wednesday morning from 2am. The Prosecco Hours with Alessia Pegoli will feature hip, swingin’ music from Italy and western Europe, both old and new. The Prosecco Hours will begin on Wednesday April 17.

PBS would like to say a very fond farewell to Claire Stuchbery (Firewater) and Ruby Soho (Garageland), both of whom will be leaving PBS due to work and other commitments. Claire has served PBS in a range of roles for 17 years and she’ll be dearly missed by PBS listeners, members and her colleagues here at the station. Ruby has also served her community diligently in recent years and we hope that she’ll be able to keep doing PBS fills in our punk, garage and indie programs. Hopefully PBS listeners will tune in to hear the final programs from Ruby (March 27) and Claire (April 2) over the next week.
