Now in its third year, The Visible Sessions are set to douse Melbourne audiences in a myriad of cross-cultural fusions and global sounds, showcasing Melbourne's diversity and ever-evolving culture.

Bringing together emerging and renowned artists from Melbourne's new and established communities, the Visible Sessions were presented last year via live broadcast on PBS, followed by a live performance at the Arts Centre, and highlighted the contribution our new communities are having on contemporary Australian arts and culture.

From November 18th to December 16th in 2011, you could catch a splice of each jam session on The Breakfast Spread from 8am each Thursday morning, and then head on down to the Arts Centre's Curve Bar each following Friday evening to a special outdoor stage that resonated with the vibrations of the Japanese Shamisen, funky Afro-Beat and Ethio-Jazz, Portuguese Fado, Greek melodies and old school rhythm and blues.
