With programs and events celebrating some huge milestones, such as the 30th anniversary of Roots & Rhythm with Helen Jennings and Soul-A-Go-Go threw the party of the decade to mark it's 10th birthday. Sizzlin’ dance floors commanded by the coolest DJs and performers made it a night that would put Studio 54 to shame.

We are incredibly fortunate to have many, many amazing artists come through our doors every year for interviews, guest programming and live performances. Sleep D & Albrecht La’Brooy, Mere Women, Jen Cloher, The Senegambian Jazz Band, The Double, The Broads, The Teskey Brothers and HEXDEBT were just a few of the particularly exceptional Studio 5 Live broadcasts. You can listen to the audio here.

Fang It hosted a killer show at the Last Chance Rock’n’Roll bar as part of the Live Music Safari during Melbourne Music week to mark 40 years of punk. The gig was broadcast live and absolutely destroyed the airwaves with a raucous set by cheeky punkmaster party animals Clowns.

Riff worshippers were also spoiled with the third installment of Heavy & Hammered descending on The Tote for an all day, all night, 3 stage, ear shatteringly heavy annihilation event featuring two dozen local and international acts.

Each summer at PBS is marked by the week-long party that is Drive Live. Five back-to-back afternoons where the doors are thrown open and cares thrown to the wind as live music claims the airwaves. Check out some of the best bits.

Reclink Community Cup rolled around once more but this time it was on the hallowed grounds of Vic Park. The crowds were huge, the performers were inspiring and the sport was… sporty.
