“…a leader of skilled ensembles, a celebrator of repertories, an organizer of legacies.” New York Times

In an industry filled with genre-bridging artists, the virtuosic multi-instrumentalist, arranger, composer, music director and DJ Miguel Atwood-Ferguson stands apart for the depth of his musicianship and versatility of his craft.

The classically-trained teen prodigy became one of LA’s most sought-after studio players and musical directors, leading to a staggering range of collaborations from Ray Charles to Flying Lotus, Karriem Riggins to Build an Ark, Seu Jorge to Aloe Blacc.

A long-time underground icon, this musical mastermind came to international prominence with his astounding Suite for Ma Dukes, an orchestral reimagining of the music of late hip-hop producer J Dilla.

Here he leads an outstanding ensemble of Australian artists from The Bamboos, Hiatus Kaiyote, Kirkus, Axolotl and Brous for a transcendental musical odyssey of the kind rarely heard in Australia.
