Sadly this coming weekend we’ll be saying goodbye to a couple of excellent PBS programs.
Heather Elmes is winding up her insomnia show The Psych Ward to focus more on the next steps in her exciting music industry career. As well as presenting The Psych Ward in recent years Heather has also done fills for breakfast, drive and a mix of other programs. Heather is a committed PBS volunteer and has made a tremendous contribution both on-air and behind the scenes. Heather will continue to do fills on PBS so we’ll still get to hear her brilliant programming and welcoming on-air presence.
Michael O’Shea will also be presenting the final episode of Tales From the Other Side this weekend (Sunday at midnight). Michael’s program has been a tremendous supporter of experimental electronic music (especially Australian music) and has helped to maintain PBS’s reputation in this progressive area of music. Michael will also continue to volunteer at PBS and we look forward to hearing him cover a range of fills.
New programs will be announced in these timeslots soon.
