"The unstoppable Snarky Puppy sound as if they've absorbed and reinvented almost the entire history of jazz fusion." The Guardian

The past four years have seen Snarky Puppy go from underground cult secret to one of the hottest new names on the international touring circuit.

Somewhere between a garage band and a collective, with award-winning bassist/composer Michael League at the helm, the members of this Dallas/NYC outfit are also mainstays with artists like Erykah Badu, The Polyphonic Spree, Snoop Dogg, Roy Hargrove’s RH Factor, Morcheeba and Kenny Garrett.

Joining them on stage for the first set in their Australian debut is formerly Melbourne-based, Texan-born vocalist Alison Wedding, whose sublime musicianship and pure vocals have marked her as a rising star.

Snarky Puppy’s relentless groove ranges from raw funk and soul to lush harmonies and lyrical melodies; in the band's own words this is "music to move the brain and booty.”
