March Program Changes

This month you’ll hear some programming changes on PBS.

Every Wednesday at midnight tune in to hear two hours of psych, doom and shoegaze as Claire Dickson moves her show Circling the Sun into a weekly time-slot.

Claire’s move to a weekly show creates an opportunity for Bridget Small to bring her new show Synthesize Me onto the PBS roster every fortnight on Thursday mornings between 2am and 6am.

Synthesize Me focuses on electronic music, iconic and cult synthesizer music, displaced synth punk and pop obscurities. Bridget is a committed PBS volunteer and we welcome her to the programming roster.

Sadly for PBS, Chelsea Wilson has announced that after 6 years she is taking a break from radio to focus on her many other commitments. Jazz Got Soul will wind up on Thursday March 22 and PBS will be announcing a replacement for this time-slot shortly.

PBS would like to wish Chelsea all the very best for the future and we extend our sincere thanks for all that she has done for PBS in a range of roles.

This month Madi Wright has also left PBS to focus on her studies. We again wish Madi well for her future and hope to hear her doing fills and other programs on PBS.
