Fri 24 Jan 2014 to Mon 27 Jan 2014

For many of the 10,000 plus people that attend each year, Rainbow has become an institution, and annual reunion, a marker in the year that’s looked forward to for months in advance. From the early trance days to the broader musical style of today, one thing Rainbow has never compromised on is the quality of its acts. With world class décor, roving artistic performances, crazy activities you can’t imagine a more exotic sensory mix spread over four days.

Taking place over 4 days, 24th -27th January 2014, festival fans can expect a full schedule of world renowned names such as UK institutions The Orb, James Zabiela, Ott and Max Cooper. Other international performers joining the colossal lineup are Israel’s Ritmo, Zen Mechanics (Netherlands) and Headroom from South Africa alongside Tristan, Elite Force, Dousk and many more.

The Orb, creators of the ambient house genre, are including the festival on their world tour celebrating 25 years of mesmerising audiences with eclectic beats and stunning projected visual displays. Festival Director Tim Harvey says 2014 is shaping up to be the biggest in the event’s history with more acts still to be announced!

Rainbow Serpent has taken steps to establish itself as one of the country’s biggest and most unique outdoor art galleries for established and emerging artists. The festival has invited Artescape founder Carin Dickson and fellow South African Daniel Popper to Australia to create large scale installation pieces for the festival. Daniel Popper is known around the planet for his puppetry, sculpture, fine arts and large installations and is sought after by high profile clients such as MTV, Siemens and the FIFA World Cup.
