Finn Rees Studio 5 Live

Two years since the release of his acclaimed debut album Dawn Is A Melody, Naarm/Melbourne’s Finn Rees has a new EP out at the end of the month called Feel The Sun, releasing on UK label Mr Bongo Records. It’s a vibrant, groove-driven celebration of jazz across three dynamic tracks with the addition of a Close Counters dancefloor remix.

Known for his work in Close Counters, his expressive keys playing and genre-blending songwriting, Finn has cemented his position as a globally celebrated jazz musician, composer, producer and keyboardist. The four compositions in Feel The Sun are an ode to our innate ability to channel positive energy from the great force of life through the circular motion of the seasons.

Tune in to Eternal Rhythm on Thursday October 29 from 11am to hear Finn Rees and his band play in Studio 5, as well as an extended interview with Shio where Finn shares tracks that he has taken inspiration from.

Studio 5 Live is made possible by Carlton Audio Visual and is supported by the Australian Government through Music Australia and Creative Australia, its arts funding and advisory body.
