From the Northern Beaches of Eora/Sydney, C.O.F.F.I.N are a four-piece rock’n’roll band whose sound ventures through boogie, blues, proto-punk and early hardcore, driven by guttural lead vocals from behind the drum kit, high-voltage lead guitars and razor-sharp rhythms.
C.O.F.F.I.N have carved a unique corner of Australian rock’n’roll. Their music nods to
the rich and raw lineage of bands such as Coloured Balls, The Angels and AC/DC, while filtering
it through their own Northern Beaches lens, exploring ideas around Australian identity,
community, environmentalism, injustice and the country’s connection with the rest of the world.
Their next chapter with their sixth studio album, Out In Oslo sees them push further into sonic exploration, pairing the high-energy edge and bite that has defined them with their most ambitious and fully realised studio production yet. The album arrives alongside the feature-length documentary 10,000 Miles From Oslo, created by Jake Laderman and Scott Marrinan, which traces more than two decades of the C.O.F.F.I.N story.
