Join us at The Night Cat in Fitzroy on Saturday October 11, from 8.30pm ‘til 3am, as we bring the dancefloor to life with classic soul, deep cuts, funk, and cool rhythms.

Soul-A-Go-Go is Melbourne’s original good times dance-off has been delivering the very best in soul and funk 45s since 2007. Get down with some of PBS’ finest selectors, including the iconic Vince Peach (Soul Time), groove queen Miss Goldie (Boss Action), the always electric Richie 1250 (Stone Love), smooth operator Andrew Young (Jazz on Saturdays), and the unstoppable DJ Lady Soul.  Plus, special guest Phil MacDougall, PBS’ longest-running on-air announcer, who is celebrating an incredible 45 years on radio this year. Best known for spinning punk, rock and post-punk on his weekly show Sunglasses After Dark, Phil will be switching it up and playing his all-time favourite soul cuts at the start of the night.

Whether you’re a soul purist or just looking to move, this is the night to let loose and get down. It’s a one-off you don’t want to miss, so get your dancing shoes ready!
