PBS Board
The PBS Co-op Board is comprised of seven Board Directors and is responsible for the governance and strategic direction of PBS 106.7FM. Board Directors are elected to serve two-year terms on the Board, with three or four positions up for re-election on alternating years at the AGM. 

At the 2026 AGM there are three “Two-Year” term positions up for election by PBS Co-op shareholders.

Board Director Vacancies  

At the 2026 AGM there will be three ‘Two-Year positions’ up for election.

• No current Board Directors are standing again for the positions.
• A particular priority for this recruitment is identifying a Director with legal and governance expertise who could take on the role of Board Secretary.

PBS also welcomes candidates with experience across areas including:

• governance and the not-for-profit sector
• finance, fundraising and philanthropy
• strategy, risk and organisational leadership
• HR, performance and change management
• media policy and regulation
• marketing, communications, brand and audience development
• media sector and industry experience
• information technology
• revenue generation and business development

An understanding of, or connection to, independent music and community broadcasting or media is also highly valued.

We want the PBS Board to benefit from a broad range of perspectives and experience. We warmly welcome nominations from people of different ages, genders and cultural backgrounds, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, LGBTQIA+ people and people living with disability.

Nomination Process  

To nominate for a Board position you must be a current Shareholder and hold an active PBS membership. You will then have to complete the nomination forms. 

Fill out and submit these two forms with your nomination. They are:

Please fill out the form including a biography covering qualifications and experience relevant to serving on the PBS Board. The nomination form needs to be “seconded” (signed) by two further current PBS shareholders. Please contact   if you need assistance.
