On Sunday June 5, the Melbourne Jazz Co-operative presented a double bill with the bands Unbroken Trio and Data Entry, each featuring musicians amongst the current generation establishing themselves in the Australian scene. The sets performed by each were recorded, and PBS is excited to broadcast Unbroken Trio's set on Dizzy Atmosphere from 8pm, Sunday August 7.

Unbroken Trio is led by trombonist Scott van Gemert, with guitarist Theo Carbo and drummer Maddison Carter, who perform original music in a highly interactive setting, focusing on a unified and melodic approach to music creation.

Unbroken Trio's set drew on their recent debut album Spark and featured other works. It will be featured uninterrupted on Dizzy Atmosphere as part of an ongoing series of special broadcasts celebrating the MJC's 40th year of presenting live performances of original Australian music by both established and emerging artists.

This concert was recorded for the MJC and PBS by Myles Mumford, with the support of PBS Business Patron, Vorticity Music.
