As most PBS listeners will be aware, Sunday April 20 was the final episode – for now – of Lights, Camera, Action. Exactly 12 months ago Lucy and her partner in film Julie moved into the Sunday brekkie slot to share the very best of film score, soundtracks and all sorts of screen-based music and news. In recent months Lucy has welcomed some familiar, and some less familiar, PBS voices onto the show as co-hosts and special guests, all sharing their favourite film-related tracks.
Listen back to the final episode of Lights, Camera, Action here, featuring LCA co-founder Julie Enzerink and Lucy French to celebrate the show’s achievements and to say a very warm farewell.
On April 27 PBS listeners can expect a new Sunday brekkie show, The Storytellers with Lee Gunn between 6am and 9a. But for the moment let’s enjoy those lights, those cameras and all of the action from Lucy and Julie one last time. Tune in to the final edition of LCA, and listen back anytime here.
