Thanks and Farewell TNT

Hard Heavy

This week PBS says a very fond farewell, and sincere thanks to Tomarch and Takla who have been keeping things heavy every alternate Thursday morning between 2am and 6am on TNT for over four years. Prior to joining the regular roster, T ‘n’ T were dedicated fill-in announcers covering all sorts of heavy and metal shows across the PBS grid. After initially starting their community radio volunteering at SYN, T ‘n’ T soon found their musical family here at PBS and have made a huge contribution ever since.

"After four years and over 100 episodes we have made the extremely difficult decision to wrap up TNT. PBS has been our home since 2014 and it's been a privilege to spend over a decade on air at such a pivotal time going from Easey Street to Collingwood Yards as well as continuing to broadcast through the pandemic.

We've had an amazing time showcasing our favourite bands across the hard rock spectrum as well as having the chance to go in-depth and chat to a wide variety of artists from Australia and around the world.

We can't thank everyone enough who stayed up til (or woke up at) 2am to hang out with us, it's everyone who was listening, texting and supporting us that made pushing through the insomnia hours possible (and caffeine, lots of it).”

Tomarch and Takla

Tune in for the final TNT this Thursday morning from 2am, or listen back to their last episode here.
