Stunning acts spread their unique brands of folk, pop, stomp, rock and soul at Sunset Sounds 2020.

A bumper program of sensational free live concerts will bring a feast of music and merriment to Stonnington’s beautiful parks and gardens this January. PBS DJs will be spinning some tunes and warming up the crowd from 5pm at each event, before the bands and artists kick off their performances and raise the (figurative) roof. Running from 5 to 8pm from the 5th to 19th of January, check out these stunning line-ups happening across the Stonnington area.

Let the 2020 Sunset Sounds series in Stonnington begin!

Sunday January 5 at Victoria Gardens, 363-381 High St, Prahran

Billy Davis & the Good Lords are bound to win themselves some new fans with their unique blend of hip hop and RnB. Supported by Tanya George and her band with their fresh sounds of soul, jazz and pop plus DJ Friday (Headunters) on the decks.

Sunday January 12 at Central Park, 148 Burke Road, Malvern East

Albury-born and Melbourne-based, The Northern Folk, are a charismatic collective of power vocalists, horns, bass and percussion. They'll be supported by Rach Brennan & The Pines, a group of singers and instrumentalists who'll bring lively, singalong roots /pops. Lyndelle Wilkinson (The Afterglow) on the decks.

Sunday January 19 at Malvern Gardens, Malvern

Indigenous Australian singer/songwriter, Emma Donovan, a member of the acclaimed musical Donovan family, will take the crowd on a journey through reggae, jazz and roots with her distinctly husky voice. Her sound will merge perfectly with that of her support act Laneous - a sel-taught musician, guitarist and vocalist with a soulful, silky voice and unique style. Join them and DJ Emma Peel (Switched On).

Proudly Presented by PBS.
