Now a regular feature on Melbourne's photography exhibition calendar, Shot in the Heart of Melbourne returns for its fourth year. Running from Thursday 19th to Monday 30th March, 2015, 10am to 4pm Monday to Friday and 1pm to 4pm on Saturday and Sunday, this eclectic exhibition brings together the works of over 30 passionate, amateur photographers, who each explore the streets of Melbourne City in their own unique way. Come and explore the clash of Victorian and modern architecture; a selection of the state's most recognisable attractions; the vibrant street art & public art scene; the ever changing cultural landscape and much, much more. Located at the Victorian Artists’ Society in East Melbourne the event is completely free.

Celebrating Banyule City’s annual Twilight Sounds Festival , PBS 106.7FM returns with a special live broadcast for a second year from Sills Bend in Warringal Parklands, Heidelberg on Saturday, March 21. Featuring live performances from Geelong’s all-female soul stars Sweethearts, Emma Donovan & The Put Backs, Sydney’s Ms Murphy and Anna Go-Go Academy! PBS will be broadcasting live from 6-10pm with help from legend presenters Crispi and Emma Peel. Twilight Sounds is free, family-friendly and open to all. This Saturday from 3-7pm sees the annual Collingwood Harvest festival return . This free festival is an opportunity for residents from the Collingwood, Fitzroy and Richmond estates to share their different cultural traditions through art, performance and food. Hosted at Harmsworth Park, up to 1500 people gather annually to celebrate the rich diversity of our communities. Everyone is welcome to join in and enjoy tempting vegetarian and halal foods, community activities and of course local music.
