PBS is excited to announce that Shio Otani will be joining the PBS program roster with a new show Eternal Rhythm every Thursday between 11am and 1pm. Shio was a graduate of the Access and Diversity Program, she has been a regular host of Cross Pollinate, and you may even have been lucky enough to hear her on the decks at Soul A Go Go!
Eternal Rhythm will feature a mix of spiritual and soulful jazz alongside Afrocentric jazz rarely heard on radio. From undiscovered gems to new music from Australia and around the globe Eternal Rhythm will continue to build PBS’ reputation as one of the world’s truly great supporters of jazz on the radio.
