In April 2018, MOD CON dropped their widely acclaimed debut album Modern Convenience. Two months before its release, the trio of Erica Dunn, Sara Retallick and Raquel Solier teased a live audience at PBS with five riveting tracks from the album, rocking out on Richie 1250’s Friday Drive show Stone Love as part of PBS Drive Live 2018. It is with pleasure that we bring you back this fabulous set in November on Jordan Oakley’s show Underground Love

From Stone Love to Underground Love, this live session is a great reminder of MOD CON’s strength and relevance in the local scene. The band has just released their second album Modern Condition, a nine-track record written over the last two tumultuous years that explores such concepts as nihilism, jilted romance, and greed. It is an artistically and intellectually evolved work that, naturally, we chose as a PBS Feature Album.

We continue to celebrate the contribution of this band by inviting you to tune in to Underground Love on Tuesday November 16 when we revisit MOD CON’s Drive Live 2018 set in its entirety.

Studio 5 Rewind is brought to you by Mountain Goat.
