The old adage goes that with the closing of one chapter, another begins. And so it is with the return of Homebrew to PBS in 2015!
Like you, dear listener, we were more than a little bit sad to see Jenny O'Keefe hang up her headphones at the end of last year. Much hand-wringing went on behind closed doors to find a worthy successor to the Homebrew throne.
After some careful deliberation the PBS programming brains struck gold. An idea that's so brilliant, it seems unbelievable that it wasn't patently clear from the start.
Without further ado (drum roll please)... we're very happy to announce that Homebrew founder and former Breakfast Spread co-host, the award-winning Maddy Mac will return as host of Homebrew in 2015!
She'll bring you the latest and greatest in Australian music every Monday afternoon between 3 and 5pm, with a commitment to unearthing new, independent artists from across our great brown land. Welcome back Maddy, and thanks once again Jenny!
