Last Wednesday night Kev Lobotomi announced that after 33 years Shock Treatment would be winding up on December 28, 2022.
Kev’s contribution goes all the way back to 1986 so it’s an understatement to say that he’s one of the true legends of this radio station. Throughout his time at PBS Kev has been an absolute champion of local punk, hardcore, garage and rock'n'roll bands.
His contribution to PBS and to our music scene has been incredible and he’ll be missed dearly. In coming weeks expect to hear from some of Kev’s all-time favourites and we’ll soon announce a giant party and gig to help send Kev off in style!
