Featuring tracks from artists such as Grant Green, Lonnie Liston Smith, Art Blakey and Donald Byrd this evening promises to deliver boogie and soul jazz at its finest.

The evening features three of Melbourne’s finest musicians assembled as a combo especially for the event. Starring Jake Mason (Cookin’ on 3 Burners) on organ, James Sherlock on guitar and Rory McDougall (The Putbacks) on drums, plus specials guests include Yuri Palivnov and Anton Delecca (The Bamboos) on bass and saxophone respectively, as well as PBS’ own Adam Rudegeair (Black Wax) on Piano.
