Reggae legends from around the world and rising stars from Victoria will descend on Seaworks Maritime Precinct, Williamstown, for The Jamaican Music & Food Festival. The premier celebration of reggae and music of Jamaican origin will also feature performance art, street food and culture in one exciting afternoon.
The festival will once again present a talent-rich lineup of live international and local musicians and DJs including Jesse I, Mohair Slim, Rick Howe, Sista Itations, Housewife’s Choice Sound System with full crew. Headlining the festival this year is the one and only GENERAL LEVY (UK). Some other big names that will be a part of the lineup this year includes Spikey Tee (UK/JA) Flames Eye (JA), Fitzroy Lee (JA)
Four stages will deliver a world-class dose of the best reggae, dancehall, ska, roots, and dub across eight hours of family-friendly entertainment including a Roots Man Corner featuring Heartical Hi Powa, Housewife’s Choice will take over the Lighthouse Stage, Goody’s HiFi will power up the I love Dancehall stage inside The Pirates Tavern. Plus, food is a big part of the Jamaican culture and this year there will be an abondance of mouthwatering dishes available for over 20 food vendors and the festival bar full of Mountain Goat beers, Appleton Jamaican rum and everything else you need!
