Phwoar, twenty big ones! Come and join us for the twentieth edition in a row of our monthly ska, rocksteady and early reggae party Jamaica Jump-Up.

Fresh from Ethiopia, special guest DJ Cassawarrior (NZ) will be going head-to-head with Jamaica Jump-Up resident and host of Blue Juice, Mr Mohair Slim, to throw down their best selections on the decks.

Kilmarnock Steve (The Ska Vendors, Melbourne Ska Orchestra) will be putting down the mic and picking up the vinyl as he steps in to share his collection as our opening DJ. Miss Fee, Fabulous Fez and DJ Lady Erica will also be joining the party as this month’s guest selectors.

Bringing in the live action will be none other than Johnny Longshot – playing their own blend of original songs and versions from the vaults of classic ska, rocksteady and reggae.

And, as always, we’re very excited to welcome back the one and only Queen Jigzie (JA) to bring all the good vibrations as MC for the night.

As usual, door sales only, so get down early! If weather permits, we’ll be dancing under stars as The Gasometer has thrown the roof open! Party starts at 9pm, til stumps at 3am!
