We’ve made it through winter and as the days get warmer the vibes are strong as ever at PBS 106.7FM’s monthly ska, rocksteady and early reggae party Jamaica Jump-Up! Get down to The Gasometer Hotel on Saturday, September 17 as some special guests fly down from Sydney for the second annual Melbourne vs Sydney shakedown.

We are pleased to welcome back Rudy Powell and Wally Wally – both from Sydney – who will be going head-to-head with Jamaica Jump-Up stalwarts Mohair Slim (Blue Juice, PBS) and Fabulous Fez throwing down their best vinyl selections for two epic combined sets.

Also on the bill will be PBS’ own Jesse I (Babylon Burning) and special guest selector Troublemekka set to slay it on the decks, while Queen Jigzie returns as MC once again!

Plus, the phenomenal rocksteady kingpin Pat Powell (Melbourne Ska Orchestra, Jazrie Sound System) will front The Jump-Up Allstars for a massive live set.

As usual, door sales only, so get down early! Party starts at 9pm, til stumps at 3am!
