Jackson Reid Briggs and The Heaters: what a goddamned mouthful. What a bloody earful. Punk rock n roll without the spit shine.
Less than a year after releasing Spit On It and Give It A Name, Jackson Reid Briggs and The Heaters return with a brand new album drenched in bleeding guitars, swampy horns and generational ennui. It All Comes Down.
With a new line-up featuring drummer Shauna Boyle (Cable Ties) and frequent collaborator Ryan Potter (The Maryetta’s, Nikko) on guitar, as well as an electric organ and a wild horn section, this fresh batch of songs showcases a more mature(ish) and considered sound from the band, though no less loud or raucous than we’ve come to expect.
Tune in to Fang It! for a Studio 5 Live with Jackson Reid Briggs and The Heaters. Proudly brought to you by Mountain Goat.
