Hush is Australia’s charity for bringing together music and medicine. Founded by Royal Children’s Hospital physician, Dr Catherine Crock in 2001, Hush has produced 14 albums of original music to bring peace and hope to patients and their families going through difficult times.
Now distributed to every children’s hospital in Australia, Hush brings together Australia’s finest composers and performers to create music for tens of thousands of listeners every year. Profits from sales of Hush albums go to the children’s hospitals for research and patient care.

Hush Live’s diverse collection of Australian musical talent includes classical and jazz musicians and composers such as: Paul Grabowsky , Andrea Keller, Tony Gould, Joe Chindamo, Mark Isaacs, Paul Stanhope, Elena Kats-Chernin, Graeme Koehne, the Goldner String Quartet, Slava & Leonard Grigoryan, Diana Doherty, and many more.

To celebrate years of bringing peace and joy to every childrens hospital in Australia, on Saturday December 6 , Hush will be holding a gala concert at Monash University’s prestigious Robert Blackwood Hall, in Clayton, Victoria. The concert will feature a diverse group of musicians in 7 ensembles featured on Hush Live, culminating in a symphony orchestra of star players gathered from around Australia. This will be a true celebration of the Hush journey to date.

Proceeds from the concert will contribute to a Hush donation to the new Monash Children’s Hospital.

The unprecedented assembly of Australian classical and jazz performers will be one of the most exciting Australian music events of the year.
