Sat 3 Nov 2012 to Mon 3 Dec 2012

The Shadow Electric Bar and Abbotsford Convent are proud to present The Good Hustle - November Music Salon. The Good Hustle is a handpicked, diamond encrusted showcase of contemporary artists set over 6 intimate nights.

Featuring: Worlds End Press, Collarbones, Lost Animal, Harmony, The Woohoo Revue, Geoffrey O’Conner, The Harlots, Olympia, Kira Peru and the Bruise, Teeth and Tongue, Public Opinion AfroOrchestra, Cactus Channel, Melatonin, Clubfeet DJ’s, and Sex on Toast.

The first show kicks off November 3rd with Geoffrey O’Connor/Lost Animal and Club Feet Dj’s

Each show presents as an intimate double header, offering an up close encounter, with some of Melbourne’s best performers in a unique location. Local filmmakers WHOBYFIRE will record and edit songs from each performance, the exclusive works to be distributed online via themusic.com.au in the week following the shows. This is a chance to catch these incredible acts in what will live on as series of iconic live footage. The Good Hustle is presented and filmed on a purpose built set in an 18th Century former Industrial School at The Abbotsford Convent. The setting provides for a truly unique staging of live music.

All events are licensed and pre sale tickets allocations are strictly limited to an audience of 200. Doors are open from 6pm, music, performances, food and drinks will be flowing until midnight. A requirement of entry to the venue will be the willingness to sign an image release agreement, enabling audience members to appear as a backdrop in the filming of the performances.

The Shadow Electric Bar will be open from 1pm serving up savory and dessert crepes, beers,
chocolate, cheese, wines, spirits and cocktails all day and all of the night.
Ping Pong will be available across a generous meterage of tables throughout Nov and Dec.

The Good Hustle is proudly presented by The Shadow Electric and the Abbotsford Convent in
association with themusic.com.au, PBS FM, Whobyfire and Vice Magazine.
