A talented line up of musicians will perform at the spectacular 2011 Globe to Globe World Music Festival being held at Namatjira Park in Springs Road, Clayton South on Saturday, January 23 from (12noon-10pm) and on Sunday, January 24 (from 12noon-6pm).

Proudly presented by the City of Kingston, this fantastic event showcases the very best in world music over two stages, as well as a range of dance, craft and cooking workshops, cuisine from around the globe and rides and entertainment.

The World Music Stage will feature performances by talented world musicians including: Inca Marka, Christophe Genoux Trio, Anadromiki Compania, Grace Barbe, Vulgagrad, Azadoota, Ganga Giri, Melbourne Salsa, Alex Burns Adventures in Paradise, Vardos, and Saoirse.

A range of cultural performances will be presented on the folkloric stage and there will also be workshops in bollywood dancing, Zumba and belly dancing for people to try.

The Festival, now in its 11th year, has grown to become one of the most highly regarded world music festivals in Victoria showcasing cultural diversity and world music. Many thousands of people attend the two day event each year.
