PBS were stoked to host local five piece Floodlights for a Studio 5 Live, whose dynamic live performance is raw and intimate, intertwined with powerful outbursts and marching rhythms. Since the beginning of their short career, Floodlights have explored themes of personal turbulence, national identity and the Australian landscape as a form of escapism. Their latest album Painting of My Time signals the next step for the band, building upon these themes while showcasing their sonic progression which translates to a captivating live show.

Floodlights have big fans in both Jordan Oakley (Underground Love) and Claire Stuchbery (Firewater), so how better to present the live session than across both shows!  Listen back to the full set exclusively on PBS here!
