A community event at the historic Victoria Park, supporting disadvantaged kids.

The mixed teams come from all corners of the local community including all 3 local housing estates and local organisations such as PBS & RRR, Melbourne Fire Brigade, Vic Police and more. It is a fun and active day for everyone with profits going to Happy Football Cambodia Australia and Collingwood Allstars Soccer Program.

Kicking off at midday, the teams compete for the Fair Play Trophy, medals and other prizes inc tickets to catch a Melbourne Victory game, a stadium tour and meet and greet with the players at a training session.

Come down and cheer the teams on – enjoy a cheap bar, food and coffee, foosball tables and music all day from DJs pitchside.

First up though it’s the kids as Melbourne Victory will be running a Junior World Cup with teams from local schools and junior clubs kicking off at 9am and running through until midday, followed swiftly by the senior tournament with the final at approx 6pm.

Fair Play happens with the support of: The City of Yarra, Carlsberg Beer, Collingwood Rotary, Melbourne Victory FC, Splitrock Water, Rent The Rig, Hellas Printing, Football Federation Victoria, PBSFM, Futsaloon5, FutsalOz, Bargo, Plakkit, RRR radio, Collins Sims and Melbourne Fire Brigade.

The 11th Fair Play competition takes place on Monday March 10th at Victoria Park, off Johnston Street, Abbotsford, just 10mins from the CBD. If you would like to enter a team in to the competition please contact pgrogan@hfcaustralia.org or come down on the day and help us change lives. See www.hfcaustralia.org for more details.
