EDEN Studio 5 Live

Studio 5 Live
Wed 6 Aug 2025
Hard Heavy
Studio 5 Live

Post-punk and darkwave masters EDEN return to PBS for a moody, powerful and emotionally charged Studio 5 Live session that reaffirms their long-standing connection to Melbourne’s independent music community. Catching up with Kristen Solury on Bleeding Black Hearts Revue, the band will be discussing their upcoming album due next year.

Since 1988, EDEN have carved out a distinct and immersive sonic identity – emotional, atmospheric, and deeply resonant. With ethereal textures and cinematic soundscapes, EDEN create music that haunts and uplifts in equal measure.

Signed to respected UK and German labels – Third Mind Records, Nightshift Records, Hyperium and Dark Vinyl Records – EDEN’s reach has extended across Europe, with airplay on BBC Radio One and alternative radio networks throughout Germany, Poland, Italy, and France. Their sound has taken them from Melbourne’s underground to international stages, including iconic dark music festivals Wave-Gotik-Treffen (Leipzig) and Projekt Festival (Chicago). Releases such as The Light Between Worlds (1990), Gateway to the Mysteries (1992), Fire and Rain (1994), The Edge of Winter (2017) and East of the Stars (2020) have cemented their legacy in the global post-punk and dark alternative scenes.

Tune in to Bleeding Black Hearts Revue on Wednesday August 6 from 8pm for this rare and intimate performance.
