As the weather gets warmer, PBS 106.7FM and Kingston Arts welcome back Live at City Hall: Sunday Sounds, a series of free, family-friendly events. This February, we kick off with Sweethearts!

Purveyors of all things Soul, Sweethearts bring a new energy to the genre with their exciting
performances. Sweethearts mesmerizing blend of soul, funk, and R&B transcends generations. With each member bringing their own unique talents to the stage, from intense saxophone solos to delicately crafted melodic storylines, the band creates a sonic tapestry that is as rich and diverse as the women who comprise it.

Sweethearts pay homage to the legends of soul while fearlessly carving out their own unique 
musical identity. With boundless talent and undeniable charisma, Sweethearts inspires a new 
generation of soul music lovers, and with performers ages ranging from 14-18 years, Sweethearts 
performance skill and experience is well beyond their years

Sweethearts will be supported with DJ sets by PBS presenter Vince Peach (Soul Time, Wednesdays 3pm – 5pm). Vince has been a part of the PBS 106.7FM family for over 40 years. With a love for soul and funk, his live DJ sets include a range of new local and international sounds and some retrospective tracks.

With free kids’ activities and a relaxed atmosphere, Sunday Sounds is the perf kick back, relax and enjoy the summer vibes and soak in the tunes live music in a family-friendly atmosphere.
