As the weather gets warmer, PBS 106.7FM and Kingston Arts welcome back Live at City Hall: Sunday Sounds, a series of free, family-friendly events. This summer, we kick off with ‘the high priestess of Melbourne soul’, Kylie Auldist!

The leading lady of the multiple ARIA award-nominated band The Bamboos and a celebrated solo artist in her own right, Kylie has grown to become one of Australia’s most respected, versatile and accomplished performers.
Being the first and only solo Australian to have signed for highly acclaimed UK label Tru Thoughts, she released three critically acclaimed albums on the label before moving to the German K7 imprint Soul Bank Records to release the 80s electro soul flavoured LPs Family Tree and This is What Happiness Looks Like. She has twice won a coveted Music Victoria Award as well as providing vocals for the global smash hit ‘This Girl’ (Kungs vs Cookin’ on 3 Burners), which reached the top 100 in over 50 countries and has been streamed over 1 billion times on Spotify alone.
Kylie will be supported with DJ sets by PBS presenter Lyndelle Wilkinson (The Afterglow Radio Show, Wednesdays 5pm – 7pm). Lyndelle has been a part of the PBS 106.7FM family for over 20 years. With a love for disco, soul and funk, indie, new wave and also electronic dance, her live DJ sets include a range of new local and international sounds and some retrospective tracks.
With free kids’ activities and a relaxed atmosphere, Sunday Sounds is the perf kick back, relax and enjoy the summer vibes and soak in the tunes live music in a family-friendly atmosphere.
