AWME (Australasian Worldwide Music Expo) is the region’s largest industry conference and showcase event for roots music – providing a platform for networking, professional engagement and the proliferation of creative collaborations.

This year, AWME will see approximately 500 high-profile local and international music representatives from some of the world's leading festivals, record labels, booking agencies and arts organisations, making their way to Melbourne for the sixth annual AWME from Thursday 14th – Sunday 17th November.

Just announced as Keynote Speakers will be Bluesfest promoter Peter Noble, who will be discussing 25 years of Bluesfest in Byron Bay, as well as iconic Indigenous artist Archie Roach in conversation with Jane Cornwell.

AWME once again assembles key representatives from some of the greatest festivals from around the globe including Glastonbury Festival (UK), Bluesfest, Bonnaroo Festival (USA), Montreal International Jazz Festival (Canada), Calgary Folk Music Festival (Canada), Sierra Nevada World Music Festival (USA), Sfinks Mixed Festival (Belgium), Port Fairy Folk Music Festival, Reggae Sun Ska Festival(France), Riddu Riddu International Indigenous Festival (Norway), Ulsan World Music Festival (Korea), Warsaw Cross Cultural Festival (Poland) and Sakifo Festival (Reunion Island).
