This year’s AWME will showcase a diverse line-up of the finest roots music in Melbourne across three days this November 12 – 14.
Proudly in its eighth year, AWME will be jam-packed with music industry speakers, a broad conference program of national and international music industry professionals and an amazing array of live musical talent.
AWME not only presents a strong public festival event, but also creates a platform for showcasing musicians from around Australia and across the region to meet with music industry representatives from around the world. In the last few years, AWME showcases and networking sessions directly resulted in new opportunities for artists in the areas of touring, festival engagements, performances, media coverage, recording, publishing and other career-building activities.
AWME 2015 full list of artists so far includes:
Archer, Cash Savage & The Last Drinks, Emma Donovan & The Putbacks, Henry Wagons & The Only Children, HOWQUA, Jess Ribeiro, John Bennett with David Hyams, Kingfisha, Latinaotearoa, Mick Thomas, Mojo Juju, Ngaiire, OKA, Pirra, Quarter Street, Ruby Boots, Skipping Girl Vinegar, The Audreys, The Meltdown, The Seven Ups, Thomas Oliver and Yirrmal. Plus just announced - Anna O, Ella Thompson, Cumbia Cosmonauts, Kutcha Edwards,The Deans, Deep Street Soul, Three Kings, Raised By Eagles, Emma Peel and Chelsea Wilson.
AWME 2015 will also be announcing in coming weeks, the inclusion of a diverse range of industry speakers as part of this year’s Conference Program.
