48 Hour Film Project Melbourne will be hosting this year’s first event at Loop Bar, 23 Myers Place on Wednesday 12 September at 7:30 pm. The creative forum is an event for everyone interested in learning more about the project before signing up!
The 48HFP Melbourne team will there, along with previous participants, to give a rundown of the project, answering any questions. There will also be screenings of national and international entrants from previous years.
Festival producer Jen Farrow calls The Creative Forum “an awesome networking event for filmmakers who are looking for a team for this year’s festival.” Everybody who is interested in 48HFP should drop by. Bring ideas, your showreel, portfolio, images, scripts along with other examples past work.
The 48HFP Melbourne is taking place over the weekend of 19-21 October 2011 with all screenings taking place at Cinema Nova in Carlton over 13-15 November. A stellar judging panel of industry experts will select the winners in each category, with the audience selecting its own favorite film to be screened on Awards night on 16 November 2012.
