by Belles Will Ring

Sydney outfit Belles Will Ring have released their long awaited second album Crystal Theatre, which is out now via Dot Dash / Remote Control / Inertia Music.
Crystal Theatre is a striking collection of hazy, sun-drenched songs laced with the bands signature psychedelic style and a deeper, darker tone. Recorded throughout 2010 in the tiny town of Portland in central western NSW, the band left the city behind and escaped to the country to record the album.
With Crystal Theatre, Belles Will Ring have expanded their sound, adding a wilder and weirder texture by experimenting with vintage keyboards, trumpets, flutes, character voices and found sounds. The album follows on from the band's lauded 2007 album Mood Patterns and 2008’s mini-album Broader Than Broadway.

Catch Belles Will Ring launch Crystal Theatre at The Workers Club in Melbourne on Friday 1 July, supported by The Fearless Vampire Killers and Cuba Is Japan.
