Ben Waters Band

Ben Waters Band

Wednesday 28 February 2018

Ben Waters is recognised as one of the UK’s supreme boogie piano players and has worked with The Rolling Stones, Ray Davies, Chuck Berry, Jools Holland, Jerry Lee Lewis, PJ Harvey, and the list keeps growing!

Ben's most successful album to-date, Boogie 4 Stu is a tribute to family friend the late Ian Stewart, a founding member of the The Rolling Stones and a major influence on Ben's career. For this tribute, Rolling Stones past and present joined Ben, along with Jools Holland and other friends in recognition of an old mate. Proceeds from album sales went to the National Heart Foundation.

Having performed in over 25 countries around the world and in some of the most iconic venues including Royal Festival Hall, the Lincoln Centre and Les Paul's Iridum in NY, Ben is a truly international and one of the busiest musicians around. He comes to Australia fresh from two sell out shows at the world famous Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club in London's west end.

Listen back to Roots of Rhythm for a live set from Ben Waters Band. Studio 5 Live is proudly brought to you by Mountain Goat.
