by Keb Darge & Little Edith

Keb Darge & Little Edith’s Legendary Rockin’ R&B series sets out to expose lesser known or forgotten lights of R&B music from the 50’s and 60’s. The scene in the UK is currently the fastest growing underground club scene. Several funk Djs are switching from the 70’s sound to the earlier 50’s and 60’s rawer sounds. This summer events like Wayne Hemmingway’s Vintage Festival are going to expose this music to hundreds of thousands of listeners. Keb Darge is always ahead of the curve of the tastemakers in this growing “new” scene.

Since teaming up with BBE in 1996, Keb Darge has become a regular name
on the international dj circuit playing his inimitable brand of deep funk,
northern soul and rockabilly. His Lost and Found Saturday residency/promotion at Madame Jojo’s is now in its 4th year and has regular
guest djs such as Andy Smith (Portishead), Paul Weller, Peanut Butter Wolf
(Stonesthrow), Dj Shadow and Cut Chemist. This means that through the
press this packed night receives the Lost and Found Brand is respected and
well known.
