Eaglehawk Film Festival returns the Star Cinema from January 16-18 2026, for a weekend of carefully selected films with a difference – each year curated around a unique theme.
2026 is a whole different ANIMAL.
Now just to be clear, this is not a festival of animal documentaries. This is a program of films exploring the term figuratively – mostly ‘human animals.’
Many film-makers have played with this theme, and Eaglehawk Film Festival have pulled together a menagerie of movies for you to enjoy!
As usual they have cast the net wide to give you a diverse cultural experience, with films from USA, Spain, Belgium, Argentina and Ireland. Check out the program here.
